چکیده

Our aim in this paper is to outline a fruitful collaboration between the discipline of CSCW and the technologies of Web 2.0 within the scope of the enterprise. The collaboration is two-way: the technologies of Web 2.0 can be used to build systems that enhance collaborative work in the enterprise and the methodology of CSCW can be used to understand how people use Web 2.0 technologies and how they result in the production of knowledge. Conversations represent the core means of collaboration in the enterprise. This paper presents our vision of how a tagging and social software-based framework can be realized for achieving persistent conversations that can be annotated, searched, retrieved, and shared. Additionally, we show how such a framework can help discover links and relationships between users, topics and communities. We have a preliminary implementation of a system based on the proposed framework.
